We have a mass and capacity quiz tomorrow, but I'm giving you a review of all of our measurement to help with the test on the 4th. Since the review is for homework, the answers to tonight's homework are here! I have tried to include explanations to help out.

We are going to finish reading The 100 Dresses in class this week. I've been showing the children how we should read to make sure we are understanding what we are reading. I am collecting journals this week. Students have color-coded stickers on their reading journals and I'm collecting a different one each night.
The book we are reading in school is about a girl who is bullied because she is poor. The students do not understand her and don't include her. She feels left out. We are going to use this book to excite the children about raising money for a "buddy bench." We will be dedicating this bench to Mrs. Bowden and hope the students use it to help others who feel left out. Mrs. Stetina designed this wonderful lesson and I think Mrs. Bowden would love it!
Thanks,
Sya LaManque
